Well, I had hoped to create some today, but it didn't work out that way (hopefully I'll get some done this evening) - I have been cleaning out my creative space trying to find a way to get myself organized a little better. I am very organized normally and usually have an idea of where everything is, but here lately, I'm just not feeling I'm there yet (I think it is because I was looking for some Basic Grey paper the other day and saw so many things I had forgotten about). How do you remember all you have - please pass on any ideas you have. I was thinking about moving all my stuff into an empty room we have (we are now using it as a guest room/play room for Patrick), but I tried that once and I got lonely (I'm one that loves to talk while working) so I moved into a large corner in our living room, so I can talk with Jim and watch tv - it has worked out well, but I'm running out of room :(
Oh, I'm sorry, I got off track there. I'm here to post some more mother's day cards I made - thanks to all that commented on my previous entries - I just love it when my wonderful blogging friends come by and say hello - you guys always make my day and gives me a huge boost to keep on creating.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't manage without my craft room. It can be as tidy or messy as I like! I am the opposite to you then - I like to shut the door and have the room to myself!

ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous Janet!! I love your second one especially with the pink flowers and all the textures!! I stamp in my kitchen since I homeschool my girls and they are always home. I don't like to isolate myself. My storage or crafting area is in the basement. I can relate to your not finding or remembering what you have. I long for organization too but really can't change where I craft.
ReplyDeleteThose cards are great! My favorite has to be the brown and pink! I have my own room but to keep myself entertained I have music and usually someone bugging me! LOL I try and go through paper and my stamps to pick out what things I want to use in the future. That way I have to use them! Thanks for all your kindess to me! I really do thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am glad we met!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you...I have a lovely spare room that I have craft storage in but JUST can't work there. I took over a corner in my rec room to scrap in. I have to have company, too, even if it is only the TV. I love the cards that you have made! tfs....
