snow for Christmas (lots of photos)

Hey everyone:

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and God blessed you with the joy of family, friends and love from those around you.  We received a wonderful late gift this morning when we woke up and have already enjoyed it, but am glad to be back inside where it is warm.  I have always loved snow, except for when I'm traveling in it, and this is no exception - isn't it just beautiful.

Can you tell I received a new camera for Christmas - Jim is so sweet.  He got me a Canon Rebel T2i and I am loving it, but know there's so much to learn and can't wait to see what all this toy can do.

Enjoy the beautiful day.

  1. So pleased to hear Janet that you had such a lovely Christmas present! Great photos. We might not have quite as much snow here, but to say it causes utter chaos! We just are not used to the white stuff here! Jill x

  2. What a wonderful surprise for you this morning to wake up to snow! We had a white Christmas last year so it was your turn this year. Your pics are very nice, peaceful looking..could you hear the snow falling? That's my favorite part...just the stillness & hearing the snow fall.
Thanks for your nice message and I too feel that your friendship is a blessing from God.

    Merry Christmas!
    love & hugs,

  5. Janet, thanks for your nice comments on my blog! I am so jealous---we were supposed to get a big snowstorm but it just missed us...you got more in SC than we did in PA, and my sister who lives in Charleston, couldn't make it up - first time she missed Christmas with her family! I am sure you'll figure out that snazzy camera soon - I enjoyed what you did with the snow scenes and your son--and I can't wait to see some more!
