Happy Wednesday everyone:
I hope you have all being doing well this week. We have had a trying week, but am sure we will overcome with the help of prayers, family and friends.
Patrick's school buddy is turning 13 this month and since his birthday falls on Thanksgiving, his parents went ahead and had a birthday party for him. Patrick asked me to make Andrew a birthday card at the last minute (UGH) and couldn't tell the lad no, so I told him he had to help me. Well, we had a total of 20 minutes to put a card together - Patrick told me that Andrew's favorite colors are green and blue, so I came up with the paper and Patrick picked the rest (the candle represents the "1" and the brads represent "3" to make the total 13 - get it? - Patrick thought that was a perfect idea on his part - I don't disagree). I am totally shocked I finished this card in 10 minutes - we were really pleased with how it turned out. I think I'm going to get Patrick to help me more often :)
I hope you all have a great rest of the week and I'll talk to you soon.
Janet
Supplies - basic grey Oliver paper, stampin up twine, Tim Holtz forest moss ink - I'm not sure about the stamp or brads.
Hi Janet, sorry to hear that the you are having a bad week. I know that times must be difficult for you all at the moment and I hope that things improve soon.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely think you should get Patrick involved more often - sounds as if he is talented like his Mum!! Jill x
Excellent card for a 13 year old Janet. Well done Patrick.
