Happy Anniversary

It's Monday morning and am ready to start the week:)
I have been doing a lot of cards for my friend Nina lately and am so thankful to her for letting me get creative and have loved every minute of it.  She had asked me to make her mother and father-in-law a 50 year anniversary card and wanted to put some male colors in it so it won't be completely female, so I used the blue color, which is so pretty IRL.
I did something new, for me at least, this time and that was to ink up my embossing folder with the ink before I ran it through the machine (I can tell you that I will be doing that a lot in the future).  I used the CB textile texture folder and Bermuda Bay ink and cardstock - it turned out great.  I went to a stamp class a few weeks back and fell in love with the fresh vintage set and everyday enchantment designer paper - they are so pretty.  I didn't have the SU markers to use, so I used my copic markers and colored the stamp before I stamped it on the SU whisper white cardstock.  Nina was very happy with how it turned out and I was pleased with out it worked it.

I hope you have a great Monday.

  3. Hi Janet

Fab card, the coloured embossing has worked really well! Beautifully done.

BTW - I've upload a template for the crib as I had a few requests so head on over and download it. Have fun with it!

    Till next time

  4. Hi Janet, It is great to see that you are having fun making so many cards lately. That flower stamp lends itself so well to colouring with any medium before stamping and you have used such pretty colours.
Glad your friend loved your card.
