Let's Celebrate invitation

A few months ago, my friend and neighbor asked me to create a "Let's Celebrate" invitation for a get together she is having this month, but she wanted to do something a little different because there were so many things going on with her family over the past few months, birthdays, anniversaries, etc., along with her daughter and husband coming back to the East coast from being in Washington State for a while so Welcome Home was to be included. Now, you know me, I like a challenge, but boy this one was because I just couldn't figure out how to do it until I saw something that made the light bulb go off  I haven't created a variation of a normal card except to make a circle card for a friend a while back, so this one was going to be here. This is how it turned out. I was really excited with it and do believe Debbie was pleased   I can't wait for next year to create a new invitation for her.
