A very special friend celebrates her birthday today and I wanted to create a very colorful birthday card for her and came up with this creation :)
I have been playing around with watercoloring, stencils and texture paste lately and wanted to give that a try again. Here I used Ranger texture paste with Archival dandelion and magenta hue inks (that is such an easy way to make great color) and added the paste to Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's flower stencil to create the background. Then I took some black cardstock, added versamark ink and clear embossing powder to make the sentiment stand out a little bit more. When I cut the panel down, realized it needed a little something extra, so took the impression obsession diagonal stamp to a melon mambo sheet to add that extra something :) I couldn't finish up the card without adding some sequins and here I used Mint Owl Studios Electric sequins (I love Tracy, she is the sweetest person).
I even put a little flower on the inside of the card :)
I really enjoy making this card and hope you had a great birthday Sierra.
Hope everyone has a great day
