Happy weekend everyone :) I hope you are all having a great start to this wonderful weekend.

Wow, it has been a week and as I was telling my design team members earlier this week, my mojo just decided to walk off and leave me Monday. I tried hard for several days to get it back, but it wasn't happening. When I started talking with them via Facebook, they were so supportive and gave me some great suggestions and encouragement, which got me through it (thank you ladies). Well, that's enough about me, let's talk about this wonderful challenge. These colors are perfect for this week's dessert option - "kid themed" card. While my card really isn't geared toward a small kid, a teenager is still a kid, right? I think so. The wonderful part about this is that Patrick has a friend who is celebrating his birthday Monday, so this week's challenge is perfect timing especially since I had lost my mojo. His friend is a drummer and when I went searching in my stamp sets for a drum set, I couldn't find one, so Google became my friend real quick. Since he is a teenager, I needed to find something that was "epic" (that's the new it word, I take it, because Patrick is using it all the time for things I consider cool) and Patrick loved this, so I printed it off and touched it up a little with some markers. The drumsticks are toothpicks (like the idea of using household items for creations, don't you?) I hope Patrick's friend will like it - Patrick seemed to.
Okay everyone, head over to Dynamic Duos and let's see what wonderful creations you're make by using these two colors, but neutrals (skin tones, etc.) are okay to use. If you don't have these exact colors, use something as close to them as you can. I can't wait to see what you're going to show us.
