Hey everyone:
As you can tell, I'm trying to stay the course (my planner is really being a huge help with this) and do at least one blog post a week and so far this week, I've done two :) making this the third one if you consider Sunday to be part of the week and not beginning.
I'm going to start you off with a few pictures I took yesterday of our beautiful fall colors here in SC. I haven't really used my camera these past few months, but had a friend post some cool pictures on FaceBook a few weeks back that made me itch to get out there and start back up. I also played around with PhotoShop (still trying to learn how to use that program).
I did create a few cards this
week and am working on several projects for some people who are looking for Christmas gifts as well as getting our Christmas card making class at work scheduled for next month. This card is one I made for a friend at
work. I have been watching some YouTube videos from the talented Jennifer McQuire and loved the diagonal stripe
background stamp from My Favorite Things so had to give it a try. I don't
use those often (well, I only have three) but really loved how easy it was to
use. I also used a few sequins to bring some bling to the card :) These are relatively new to me, but do believe I will be using them more often in the future.
I hope you are
having a great day.
Thanks
Janet
