Two birthday cards to show

Happy Sunday everyone :)

Wow, what a week.  It has been Crazy, let me tell you.  I am taking vacation this week, so I have been trying to make sure everything was done before I left and that meant working late and getting started early.  I do believe my goal was accomplished and I can now enjoy the upcoming week because I have lots planned.

I have two cards to show you today.  Patrick told me on Wednesday that he was invited to a friend's house for a birthday party on Friday and would I make a card for him.  I said of course but couldn't do it until Friday because of trying to get things done.  We (yes, Patrick did help - shh, don't tell him I told you) created this one is about 30 minutes.  I thought it turned out pretty good and was thankful for Patrick's help.

The second one is for a lady at work whose daughter is turning 16 this week.  She showed me the colors of her cake and some of the things she enjoys, which is mainly music.  I wanted to have some musical notes on her card as well as the bow, but I couldn't find any stickers with musical notes, so I created them myself :)

I hope to be showing you more this coming week because I do plan on being creative.
