Can you believe it?

Well, guess what it did in our area of South Carolina today? You've probably guessed by now from looking at the above pictures - it snowed. Not much, but just enough to cancel school and dust the branches outside our house. It was so pretty coming down. Patrick, unfortunately, wasn't able to go out and play (he's a little under the weather) but he did get to watch it from the screen door.

I'm posting a birthday card today for a very special friend who I work with. Her birthday was last Friday and I love her to pieces. Her favorite color, as you can probably tell, is purple, so I of course had to use that color. This was a very simple card to make but I thought it turned out really nice. I didn't get to see Laurie today and hope she had a great birthday.

Off to fix supper. Talk to you soon.

Janet

  1. I live in the subtropics so snow always seems magical to me - how pretty it looks in the pictures. Lovely card too - often simple is best and this card proves it!
