I hope everyone had a nice week and gearing up for the weekend. I know we sure are - Patrick is going to a birthday party, Jim is going out on his motorcycle for a awaited ride tomorrow and I'm going to go visit a friend who has tons of stamps that she doesn't use and is going to let me come and raid her stash (I'm excited about this one). I'll make sure I post some of the creations I come up with from what I get.

Today I'm going to show you a part of the wedding invitations I have been working on for the past few months. I didn't realize how it was going to turn out, but so far I have been told that everyone who received this "save the date" invitation was very impressed and have asked for my name and number so they can place their own requests. This really makes me feel like I'm getting there :) But I can say that I have truly enjoyed doing this for my friend even though it has been a challenge. I should be finished with the wedding invitations themselves this weekend and will post that as soon as they are done.Well, I'm off to go visit some awesome blogs, which I have been wanting to do all week but just haven't made it yet.
Have a great weekend !!
Janet
Hi Janet!
ReplyDeleteJust read your lovely comment on my blog - thank you!
Keesh is a good friend of mine and I totally love her "stuff"! She amazes me with how much she can get done considering they have an orchard AND 4 kids to take care of!
Love your latest creations by the way.........I am only just getting round to commenting on everyone's blog! Bad me! lol
Take care
Karen

ReplyDeleteThose turned out really good. LOVE the purple and the writing font. Awesome sis!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice job and that is so cool that you are getting recognition for it. The half circle flaps are really interesting, did you make that yourself? PS - I love that you punched the corners of the purple insert, fun little touch! Hope you had fun with your friends stamps too!
