I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. It has been a "let's get better party" here at the Bagnall house for the last part of this week. Patrick had the flu and strep throat, but thankfully is doing much better; however, this morning Jim woke up saying that his throat was killing him, so I'm hoping he's not getting what Patrick had. I'm just praying that nothing passes my way because I'm the biggest baby when it goes to getting sick.
While Patrick was taking naps last week, I was able to get myself organized with regard to my challenges - I know have an official challenge book sitting at my work table so I can try to keep up better. There are so many wonderful challenges/sketches out there, but they are so much fun and so inspirational. I have done several challenges already today.
The first one is from 2RedBananas, where we are to use gems of any sort, so I took a card I made a while back for my great friend Jennifer and redid it because it's full of gems. I was asked last week to make a happy birthday card for another friend, so thought I would do two things at once :)Supplies used: CS - hot pink, yellow & orange Paper Studio; Stamps ~ not sure; Ink - pink color box; accessories - Cricut walk in my garden cartridge to make the large flower and Creative Memories flower punch for the small ones; ribbon - something from AC Moore; Making Memories jewels.
The second one is for the CPS sketch challenge this week. It was a fun one - even though my sketch is a little different, the general sketch is still there. I tried working it that way, but I didn't want to cover up the beautiful flower on the Anna Griffin paper. Hope you like it.Supplies used: Pattern Paper ~ Anna Griffin; Cardstock - ivory Bazzil; Stamps ~ Inkadinkado; Ink - SU olive; accessories - olive ribbon from Michaels.
Well, I'm off to go work on some more challenges. I hope everyone is doing well and will have a great week.
Janet
Hope the sore throat doesn't come to much and that you don't get it too.
