I hope you all are well. Me, I'm struggling with math problems today - Patrick is learning how to turn fractions into decimals and I have always had difficulty in math without the use of a calculator :) Also, it is taught so differently than when I went to school as well as our older kids, so I'm going to do the next best thing, wait until daddy gets home. Jim is so good at math, it boggles my mind. I will become not only mother tonight but student as well when he gets home :)
I have actually done several challenges over the past few days and I have a few more I want to do before the week is over. The first one is from The Pink Elephant - we are to use the colors pink, green & brown, which is one of my favorite color combos and came up with this birthday card. I used BasicGrey papers (LOVE THEM) and my MS border bunch. The label was made by using my cricut machine and the accent essentials cartridge my good friend Jennifer let me borrow (thanks Jennifer) and even though you can't really see it, the sentiment is stamped in brown Memento ink and edged with pink colorbox ink.
The second one is for the CPS sketch challenge (this was a fun sketch) and Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which was to use 3 brads, 2 ribbons and one flower. Can you tell I am loving the BasicGrey sultry paper? I don't really like how it turned out, but couldn't figure out what I needed to do to fix it, so I'm leaving it alone for now. Give me your thoughts. Thanks and I hope you all have a great evening.
Janet
Both beautiful cards - don't think there is anything that needs fixing at all.
