One more day until the weekend begins - hurray !! I am so ready for it. I am going to be cleaning out my scrapbooking stuff this weekend to get ready for a class I'm teaching at work in a few weeks ... it's a Learn How to Scrapbook class for people who want keep saying they want to start, but don't know how. It's always fun to share my favorite hobbies with friends because once they get started, you can tell they love it as well. I'm excited about getting it all organized and I'm sure I'll be seeing things I had forgotten I had (it will be like Christmas all over) and since I'm going to try and incorporate more scrapbooking in my life, this is going to be the perfect start :)
If you will recall, I did thank you notes for a girl at work who is getting married soon. We had her bridal shower this past weekend and this is the shower card I made for her. Her colors are pink and white, but placed a little brown to it because those are such great colors together. I thought this turned out pretty good. She liked it, which is the important thing. The papers are from Bazzill, the ribbon from Offray, the stamp from Inkadinkado and the ink is Rose by ColorBox - you can also see I used my CB to put some texture to it.
I hope you all have a great evening and a fabulous Friday.
Janet

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your sorting out, it's lovely discovering items that you'd forgotten you had - it's surprising just how much us crafters accumalate.
I'm sure your beginners will soon get hooked to scrapbooking and look forward to seeing some of your LO's too.
