Well, I was on a roll a few weeks back with posting, but then school started back up and it went all crazy trying to get into a routine, but luckily, it has been done :) Patrick has officially started the 8th grade - my little boy is growing up. This is a picture of his first day and it's just amazing to me at how tall he has gotten over the last few months - he is now taller than I am (I'm 5"2') by just a little bit.
Marching band is going well for him and we have watched two performances
- the band may be small (42 students) but boy do they make joyful
music. Once I get a better photo of him during a performance (this was
taken with my cell phone) I'll post it, but for now here's one for you
to see - he is the boy with glasses in the very back.
Okay, on to my card. I have been asked to make a handful of cards for a friend at work and I have been busy working on those this weekend, but I have been in a horrible slump - boo !! However, I did finish several for my Cardabilities design team sketches and have sent them on, so excited about that still. This card was done a few weeks back but doesn't look like I posted it, so thought today would be a good day. I have no information on this card except the sentiment is from Stampin Up. I have gotten myself a little notebook so I can jot these things down as I go along and have been doing pretty good about it the last few cards I made.
Well, I'm off to try and figure out what I can make for supper - I think sandwiches sound good tonight :)
Have a great one
Janet

Patrick is definitely growing up Janet. Glad you've got into a routine. Great card too.
ReplyDeleteHi Janet. Patrick is looking really grown up now! It's awful when your mojo flies away isn't it, however, I think it must have come back as your card is looking great! Jill x
ReplyDeleteWishing Patrick a great school year from his English auntie x
