Timeless Tuesday

Hey everyone:

Can you believe it, I'm back so soon :)  I was inspired this evening to participate in a challenge that I have never joined in on until now.  I have two great friends, Broni and Denise, who recently became design team members over at Flourishes and after seeing what they created today for the Timeless Tuesday sketch challenge, just had to get in on the fun :)
I purchased a Flourishes stamp set a few years back and am embarrased to say that I never used it until now.  The really sad part is the set contains my favorite flower, sunflowers; you would think I would have worn it out by now.  I can tell you now, though, I will start using this set more often because it is gorgeous.

Not only did I do this challenge, but I actually pulled out my copic markers to color the flowers.  If you know me, these markers really intimidate me, but I had a lot of fun using them and have told myself I'm going to start coloring an image every night until I get more comfortable with them.  Also, if you take a close look, you will see that I used flower soft in the middle of the flower, which is another thing I don't use enough.  Boy, I really stepped out of my box tonight :)

Well, I'm off for the evening.

I hope you have a great one.

Janet
