Happy Monday evening:
I hope this post finds everyone doing well and glad to see Monday almost over. Well, I tried over the weekend to post several blog awards my great friend Teresa nominated me for and even though she was kind enough to explain how to get them on my blog, I'm still having difficulty (I'm extremely computer challenged when it comes to these things), but I am still working on getting them there and hope to have them along with my nominates on there soon.
She did, however, nominate me for a different type of fun challenge. Go to where you store your photos on your computer. Go to the SIXTH folder and pick the SIXTH photo. Post that photo on your blog along with a SHORT story about it. Tag SIX people and leave a comment on their blog or email them letting them know you chose them.
Here is the photo I found. I usually don't save my photos on my computer for too long because I have had too many friends loose all their photos when their computers crashing and thought it wise to get ahead of the game and save what I have on CDs, but I am getting ready to finally start on my Nova Scotia scrapbook and found this one. My husband, Jim, and I went on a motorcycle trip several years ago with a group of friends to Nova Scotia and this is a photo I took of us, in shadow, riding our motorcycle. After I saw this picture, I was like wow, that is such a different shot. One of my friends in our group really liked it and made a few of her own the next day. I tell you, that was such a special trip and one that will never be forgotten.
So here are the gals I am challenging ... I hope you guys have as much fun as I have doing this and can't wait to see what you post. Thanks Teresa for this neat challenge.

ReplyDeleteJanet - what a great picture and a neat challenge. That is definately a picture I wouldn't have thought to taken but your creativity came through and created that cool picture. Sounds like a fun trip. I'm looking forward to seeing what other folks post on their blogs.
