Hey:Well, I'm so far sticking to my plan to post more often during the week :), but this is going to be a quick one - I have been asked to make thank you cards for a girl who is having her bridal shower this weekend (I thought I was doing a lot of birthdays, but I think weddings have been very popular for me the last few month) and I got the go ahead this morning on the ones she liked (I'll post them once completed). I took her three different samples and since she couldn't pick out just one, wants me to make 10 of each for now, so I'm off to start working on them along with getting supper started, Patrick's homework going and I think I may even wash a load of clothes - you would think I'm full of energy NOT.
I have a very good friend from work whose birthday was Monday and wanted to make a card using her favorite color, green. At first I was hesitate about these colors, but after putting it together, I really liked how this turned out - I like the patterned paper, it has a little bit of glitter around the flowers (I can't remember where I got it or who makes it, sorry). I didn't put the sentiment on the front, so this could be used for anything. I do believe this is going to be one of those cards I can make ahead of time and use for anything and with different colors.
Well, I am off even though this was a longer post than I anticipated - once I get started, I have a hard time stopping :)
Have a great evening.
Janet

ReplyDeleteJanet, this is such a pretty card. I love your bow too - I get envious when I see bows tied like that - mine are always not nice LOL.

ReplyDeleteohh...I love that one. I love the green with all the colors. It's amazing how pretty something is when you put it all together...yet thinking about it doesn't sound like it would be. But the outcome is beautiful. Awesome job you multy tasking mom you :D
ReplyDeleteJanet I really like the green. The only green I seem to use is Old Olive. Gotta break out more of those greens expecally since Spring is just around the corner.
