Lego Batman

Good evening everyone:

I am going to try and do better about posting more often and today is going to be that day when I start :)

Patrick went to a birthday party a few weeks ago and asked me to make a card for his friend, who like himself, loves Lego's - if you think I'm a crafting nut, our son is a Lego maniac :) but I'm glad he has something to create when it's not pretty outside and the good thing is he will actually take the Lego's and play with them instead of displaying them - he is creating in his own way. The party theme for his friend's birthday was Lego Batman. Do you any idea how difficult it is to come up with a Lego birthday card? Not only was it a thinker, but Patrick asked me to do it a few hours before the party - oh, the fun of quick cards. I remembered that CPS had a neat sketch the week before that might just work for this card and sure enough it did (thanks CPS - I just love sketches). I found the Lego Batman on the Internet and pieced the Lego's together with cardstock. Patrick (both of them, the birthday boy's name was also Patrick) seemed to like it and his mother asked me to make her a card for an upcoming birthday, so she must have liked it as well.

Off to make supper and get Patrick ready for school tomorrow.

Have a great evening.

Janet
