They are complete

As some of you may know, I have been working on wedding invitations for a friend at work and I have completed them (well, I completed them last weekend, but am just now getting them posted). When my friend from work gave them to the young lady getting married, she was so excited. She sent me an email and told me that not only are they beautiful and was so very thankful, she has had many people where she works (a major phone company) asking where she got them so they could place orders - how exciting is that? It sure does put a smile on my face when I hear something like this.

Here is how they turned out.The colors of her wedding are ivory and purple, but the photo doesn't do a good job of showing you the true color - I just couldn't get the picture to come out right. If you look closely, you can see that I have placed the names of the couple on a piece of vellum and placed it on top of the actual wedding invitation. I really like how that turned out. All in all, though, I was pleased with the finished product. I did do RSVP cards, but failed to make a photo of them :(

    Janet, How beautiful! What an incredible job you did for this bride. There is nothing like a handmade invitation that looks so elegant and classic. I'll pray that this opens up a whole new avenue of business for you!

    Janet - these cards look wonderful. They are elegant and pretty, perfect for a wedding invite. And that has got to feel so cool to have folks asking about where she got them and how to order. Very nice!
