Happy Friday to you ...

I hope everyone has had a great week and looking forward to the weekend.  I have been off the last few days and enjoying every second because I have been creating for a majority of those two days and today looks even better :)

I had a friend from work who had a birthday recently and she loves dalmations and when I saw these papers, just had to put them together for a card.

I'm off to get started on my Friday - have a great one !!!!

A Monday birthday

I hope everyone had a great Monday - it was busy, but a very good one.  You know, I thought September was a busy birthday month, but nope, it appears to be October that is the busy one :)  I needed a quick card to make because I got caught up with helping Patrick with homework that it was late when I remember a friend's birthday tomorrow.  I just love it when I look at the paper and everything comes together - I got the idea of this card from my wonderful friend Leigh and it was so easy to make, which is exactly what I needed (thanks Leigh).

CPS Happy Birthday Card

I can't believe it is time to go back to work tomorrow, where in the world does the time go?  I am excited though because I am only working 3 days this week (Woo-hoo) and am looking forward to those two days to myself.  Our office is having a holiday gift extravaganza and I will have a booth set up if anyone is interested in having some cards made (Christmas is coming up sooner than we think) and am excited about doing this, but have a lot of work to do before then.  

I have a good friend at work who celebrated her birthday last week and since she was on vacation this past week, I wanted to make her a card to brighten her day when she comes back to all the work she has waiting for her.  When I saw the CPS sketch challenge today, this card just came to me - it was a breeze and I just love those.

As promised ...

I promised my good friend Leigh a few months back that I would post some purchases from my scrapbook trip to Charlotte, NC this past August and am finally getting them up.  I had told myself before I went that I would get any paper, but when I got to the booth carry Basic Grey and The Paper Loft, I couldn't resist - they are so wonderful.  I hope you enjoy.

I am finally posting ...

... a few Washington, DC pictures from our family vacation this summer.  Please be aware that this is a long post, but hope you will enjoy the pictures.  We had so much fun this July, that me, a friend of mine from work, our daughter and Jared's girlfriend Brie is going again in February.  I am so looking forward to going back because I just fell in love with that place.  I am such a huge history buff and this place is just wonderful.  I hope you enjoy these pictures (I have so many more and it was so difficult to pick just these - I may even post more at a later date).  My next post is going to be pictures of my trip with my friend Debbie to the scrapbook convention we attended in Charlotte, NC this past August (I have been promising Leigh that I would do this and am finally getting them up after I pick out the good ones), so be on the look out for that.
