Get Well

as stated yesterday, I am back with a card and it's not a holiday card :)

I have someone who hasn't been feeling well lately and thought this would cheer them up a little bit - I hope it does the treat.  Sorry for the bad photo, but I presently don't have a photo designer on this computer so I wasn't able to make it look nice, but on a brighter note, I have ordered myself a new laptop and hope to have it soon - this way, I can do all my blogging and saying hello while sitting at my craft table instead of having to get up and down - it's going to be fabulous.

Well, I'm going to finish up - Patrick is staying with his grandparents tonight, so it's just me, Jim and the football game :)

Everyone have a great evening and a very Happy New Year.

An updated Hi there

UPDATE:  Hi - I had posted this last night, but wanted to add that I found out from my sister today that my brother-in-law will be heading over to Iraq Monday for a year so I am asking that you please keep Philip, my sister Tammy and their three children in your thoughts and prayers.  Tammy and Philip were very blessed a few days before Christmas with the delivery of a beautiful baby girl - Vyvienne Oktavia faith was a little early (she weighed 5 lbs 1 oz) and is, what I believe, God's will in letting Philip see his little girl before he leaves.  Both Tammy and Vyvienne are doing wonderful - David and Symantha, big brother and sister are just doting on their new sister everyday.  Once I get pictures, I'll post them - I haven't seen her yet, but hope to soon.

I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the holidays. We had such a great Christmas and am looking forward to the weekend. I haven't been blogging very much lately due to the holidays and spending time with my family, which has been so nice. Jim is on vacation this week so he and Patrick have been having a great time doing guy things together.

I wanted to send everyone a hello and ask for a special prayers request. Please keep all the men & women in our armed services, as well as their families, in your prayers. I know it must be very difficult to have a family member away for a lengthy amount of time and words just can't begin to express how much my heart goes out to each of them - to me, saying thank you for all they do to keep us safe just doesn't seem enough. I have a very special friend whose husband was deployed yesterday for 6 months and they have been in my thoughts so much over the past few weeks as they got ready for him to leave and was even more so yesterday. Keri and her family has the love and strength of God, family and friends surrounding them, but I know the extra prayers will help them even more during the coming months until Adam comes home. I just want to say, Keri, please know that we are thinking of you, Adam and the children. Please pass on a humble thank you to Adam when you speak with him again and let him know that we are keeping him and his fellow soldiers in our prayers and thoughts. We love you.

I will leave for now, but do plan on being back tomorrow with a card or two.

Have a great one !!!

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone:

I hope everyone is ready for the holidays. Me, I'm still running around like a chicken without it's head :) I have a few more things to get for Christmas dinner and should be done after that. I was asked by several people here at work to either make Christmas cards for them or cards to give as gifts and want to share some with you - have many more to show you, but I'm here at work and the others are still on my camera at home and will have to post them this weekend.

I probably won't get back on the computer this week because it's going to be so crazy here at work and at home, so I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and will be safe while traveling. I will be back on Saturday and look forward to seeing you then.

Love and hugs to you

Some exciting and awesome news

Hey there everyone:

I hope everyone is having an outstanding weekend. Me, I was have a great weekend, but when I received an email from Tenia asking me to head over to Jazzy Inspirations because she had a surprise for me, my weekend became AWESOME. She has picked me and Betty as quest designers for the next two challenges. How cool is that? I say pretty cool :) This is my first time being a guest designer and am so thrilled to begin this endeavor with Tenia - she is such an wonderful lady and I always look forward to being a part of her challenges and talking with her. I have been thinking for a while now about trying out for a design team/guest designer but have been putting it off, but Tenia has given me the courage and incentive to do so by giving me this opportunity.

I love her new challenge and can't wait to get it finished and posted, which I hope to do in the next day or two.

Thank you so much Tenia.

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend.

Season's Greetings

Hi everyone:

I hope you are all doing well and for those who have snow, I hope you are enjoying it. We are experiencing some very weird weather here in South Carolina - on Wednesday, we had a horrible thunderstorm and the temperature was in the 70s but today it's only going to be in the high 40s - go figure. We may even get some sleet over the weekend, but to be honest, I like the cold weather - it makes it feel like Christmas :)

Speaking of Christmas, is everyone ready? I haven't even started (yep, I'm behind) but hope to get started next week - Jim and I always have a great time doing our Christmas shopping, he is like a big kid in the toy store. I have been working on Christmas cards for a girl here at work and will be posting them over the next few days, but will start with this one. The image is from a gift tag I found at Hobby Lobby and thought it was beautiful (I just love poinsettias) so I knew I had to use it somehow on a card. I believe this card came out pretty nice.

Well, back to work (I'm going to be working on Patrick's computer this weekend, so I'll be able to visit everyone and am looking forward to it). Have a great weekend and be safe.

Hey

Hey everyone:

I'm sorry I haven't been on in a while, I haven't been feeling well lately and my computer has crashed again (UGH !!). I'm going to be checking every one's blog via the one here at work, so please bear with me as I catch up.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is getting ready for a fabulous Christmas season.
